uif2iso4mac is a no fuss application to convert your UIFs to ISOs. Just drag and drop your UIF file on the program's icon and it will be instantly converted.
Both UIF and ISO are image file formats commonly used for making backups of CDs and DVDs. They are also used when copying and burning discs, simply because they are generally compact and do not take too much space. The advantage of ISO is that it is supported by most software. However UIF can be very useful for reducing the size of an image file and creating password protected CDs or DVDs.
uif2iso4mac generally converts UIF files fairly quickly. It's a shame that the application only works one way though, as it would have also been useful to convert ISOs into UIF. The lack of interface might also surprise you at first. In a way though you don't really need one as uif2iso4mac only performs one action.
